  1. I have a new MS SQL account and I want to use the SQL Reporting Services as well. According to the KB I should use the Visual Studio .NET 2003's SQL Report Designer Addon to build reports. Looking through various forums it is my understanding that the only way I can get that add-in is to "install" reporting services? I don't own the server so I don't understand how I am supposed to do this. I have VSNET 2003 and I just want to intall the add-in to let me create reports. How do I do that?

    Thanks

  3. I have a local copy of SQL Server installed on my desktop system (Win XP Pro) but I read somewhere that RS cannot be used with MSDE? It seems dumb to say that because I want to use RS I have to have a full blown SQL Server on my system.

i think it RS only install w/ MS SQL not MSDE. I suggest you install a developer version of MS SQL (~$50)
