I assume you went through the "change URL" steps at Google...did you set up the CNAME in the DNS manager here?

Make sure you did not use a trailing dot on ghs.google.com in the Destination field of the CNAME record.

    ghs.google.com

    not:

    ghs.google.com.

Just checked and the DNS appears to be correct.
    # nslookup mail.tridek.com.au
    Non-authoritative answer:
    mail.tridek.com.au canonical name = ghs.google.com.
    ghs.google.com canonical name = ghs.l.google.com.
    Name: ghs.l.google.com
    Address: 74.125.47.121
You might want to double check the settings in Google apps:

    Service Settings > Email
Should be set to "custom" with mail.tridek.com.au
If not, click the "Change URL" link

There is a last step that is necessary too, and that is the "I've completed these steps" button. After you click that you should see a status of "Updating..." next to the Email link in Google control panel. If it says "Inactive," double check your MX and CNAME DNS entries.
