   1) i think FP save the guestbook in a static HTML page which you can open and edit.
   
   2) I do not think FP guestbook has notification.

   Two questions with guest book from FP 2002:
   
   1. How can I edit the guest book comments if they are inappropriate without losing all comments?
   
   2. How can I receive notices when messages are added so I can receive them and review them for appropriateness and remove them quickly if they are inappropriate.
