help i need script asp VB to import data

  1. hi,
    i need execute an asp page to do this:

    Import data to dabasbase A to dababase B
    The data are the same but the names of the tables are different.
    The database are ms access format (in both cases).
    ..">D
    Can you help me?

    Do you intend to do this often or is it just a one time deal?

    I recommend you do this in your desktop environment rahter than using ASP Script.

  4. You might take a look at Stp Database Administrator, which you can download for free at www.stpworks.com/. It is a powerfull administrator for your access database. you can import/export between different databases, just as if you were working in access itself.

  6. As far as I know T-SQL will let you create a new table but it is
    temporary. Therefore you'll have to go into Access and create a
    new table. I could be wrong on this but I think bruce is right.
