How do I export database as .sql?

  1. Im using a mac and I need to know how to export my database as .sql.

    Can anyone help me?

  3. actually, there was just a spelling error.

    however, this is the admin i've been using and i can't find an option to export the entire database as .sql

    The Web based admin tool allows you to create scripts for each table in your DB.
    This is from their Quick Start Guide:

    The URL for the Admin tool is: sqlwebadmin.discountasp.net

    If you want an easy way to generate the entire DB as SQL and don't want to purchase SQL Server you can D/L and use the free 2008 SQL Express version for this.

  5. I'd like to try out your advice, but I don't know which server name to pick when I'm looking at the myLittleAdmin login screen on http://sqlwebadmin.discountasp.net/

    If my server is not in the list, does that mean that I can't use that service?
