It's hard to troubleshoot if you've uploaded files via FTP over the Web App Gallery install. Try deleting everything and using the installer again.

  3. Thanks

Hi, Its working, but now there is a problem, that i have SQL server installed on my pc. but i cant connect it while DNN installation.
I have no idea how and what will be my connection string?

    Please reply....

  4. ...You tried to tie it to your local SQL Server?

  5. yes, I have Local SQL server 2008 installed on my pc.

  6. You can't tie it to a local SQL Server, you have to add SQL Server to your DASP account for it to work.

  7. How to add my Local SQL Server

    Hi,

How can i add my Local SQL Server to DASP account,

  8. Hi,
You can't but you can pump the data over once you add a SQL Server addon.
In your Control Panel there are options to add a SQL Server, monthly charge.
And you have options to Attach a SQL Server Express DB if you want to do it that way.
On DASPTV I've created Webcasts for each method:

If you need specific help feel free to re-post.

  9. Hi Guys,
a bit OT but is it worth having a subform to discuss DNN specifically on discountasp? I've had sites on here for ages and have the rare question or two about it. I usually go over to the DNN forums to get answered because of the larger community. So I am wondering if there are enough DNNers here to have a little corner to answer questions since we are all operating on discountasp.net.
    Thanks
    Peter

That might be a good idea for "canned apps" in general. I'll see about setting that up.
