  1. Hi there,

I am trying to make a blind FTP directory that users of my site can upload files to, but cannot see the contents of. I don't see how to do this with DiscountASP's system. I've tried making the permissions on a directory be Read: Deny, Write: Allow, but this just makes it so that the user cannot see the directory at all.

Is there something I'm missing here?

  2. I've read about it a bunch on other sites, so I know it's possible...Unless you're saying that it's not possible with DiscountASP...?

it is not possible to do this at DASP. IIS's FTP server is kinda of a rudimentary and it requires some hacking around to get this done.
