  1. So anyways i have had a dotnetnuke site up for some time but now i appear to be having some issues. I have a video module that wont let me add more videos. says the file is not 'standard'

but i can ftp the .flv file and everything is fine.

so i decided its time to learn how to manage sql 2005 (i am a linux guy , sorry..)

anyways, i tried to download SQL Server Management Studio but apparently i need 'Feature Pack for Microsoft SQL Server " which is 300+mb and sql2005 express.

i dont care to install all this stuff to manage a remote sql server.

    any ideas?

i am trying to install SQLServer2005_SSMSEE.msi, maybe thats the wrong file?

  2. The installation wizard may allow you to just install the client tools without installing the SQL Express engine. However, SQL Management Studio Express is very limited, so I recommend downloading the SQL Server 2005 Trial software and install only the Client tools, which includes the full version SQL Management Studio. Although, since it's trial, it might expire later.
