  1. Hey guys,

Hosting has been great, but I'm working on a new project and won't need hosting for some time. My hosting plan is coming to an end in a few weeks and I'm wondering how do I prevent my account from being renewed automatically? Also, if I close my account via the 'Account Cancellation' option in the control panel, will I incur a fee?
As I say, the hosting has been great (recommended!), but I won't need it for the time being.

    Thanks

  2. Sorry to hear you have to cancel your account

You definitely want to use the Cancellation link in your control panel, which you just mentioned. To better answer your Billing questions, I would recommend you to contact the Billing department via the support portal HERE

Good luck on all of your online endeavors.

  3. Thanks Billy, I'll drop them an email.
If this project (ASP.NET based) goes through, then I'll be back here :)

  4. Quick question. It's been 48 hours since I've cancelled my account. How do I know that my account will expire instead of renew? I'm yet to receive an email of any kind, but I got to the confirmation page when I cancelled confirming the time stamped.
    Thanks

Billing staff doesn't answer questions in the forum, so if you want to be sure you should drop them an email at billing@.

  6. Thanks! I hope this doesn't affect my renewal time as it's now less than 48 hours :(
