  1. Hello,

I just installed (or think I did) DotNetNuke. How do I start it up? Do I use Web Matrix or Visual Web Developer 2010 to create my site?

Thank you for your help and God Bless,

    Mark A. Sam

    Hello Mark,

Did you install DotNetNuke through the Control Panel? If so, there should be a link that takes you to a configuration page. Once configured, you should be able to start developing your site.

  3. Do you mean Windows Control Panel? I installed it from some Microsoft installer. I was installing some other programs when the II2 7.5 installation closed everything then didn't start them up again, so I am lost. I can start WebMatrix and I can start VWD 2010, but don't know where to go from there?

    Hello Mark,

You can actually install it using the Web App Gallery tool in the DiscountASP.NET Control Panel:

  5. Install it on my local machine or on discountasp?

  6. I think I have it figured out. I choose the INstall option from the website, which installed a lot of Microsoft app, but didn't install DotNetNuke for some reason. I found a .zip file to download and there is an install video on the site, so hopefully I will be up and running soon. Thanks for your input and God Bless,

    Mark
