  3. I will also submit a ticket, but just to let you know that I am also getting the same error message wheneverI create a new Web Application.

  4. Just to let everyone know who might be searching this forum... Got a response from Tech Support on how to fix this. Thanks for the quick response!

To workaround the issue, follow the below steps to reinstall the application

    - Logon to the control panel
    - Navigate to Web Application Tool
    - Select the directory / Application
    - Click Uninstall Application
    - Wait 5 seconds
    - Click Install Application

  5. How can I get around this when my project is hosted on the DISCOUNT.ASP server? Anything I should disable on my side to where I can get rid of this error or any changes to be made on my user account?

    Please try the following:
    • Contact the Web site administrator if you believe this directory should allow execute access.
HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied.
    Internet Information Services (IIS)

I thought DASP.net won't allow you to assign 'X' for users as far as I can see from their Control Panel.
Probably, they won't allow you to execute app. on their server...at least for security's sake...

All they allow to assign are RW permissions.[/quote]

    this is unrelated.

You are referring to NTFS permission, this error is caused by IIS permission.
