I have an issue with my outgoing mail:

  1. Hey everyone, I have an issue with my outgoing mail:

Everytime I send new mail the mail always ends up in googles and msns spam. Discount asp has no answers for me, and Im about to give up and find another mail provider. I am using asp 2.0 smtp mail client. Does anybody know why this is happening, or has anyone been experiencing any similar issues?? FYI -Also this same issue was happening even before I changed my mx records to use googles instead of discount asp's. The email header is below.

The header looks ok to me... it seems like Google accepted the mail without any indication that the mail is spam.

I also did a test on a test account on the same server hosting your site. I sent a test email with various subjects and from address, some went to my inbox but some was sent to spam box. I compared the headers and they look

Google's spam filtering is most secretive compare w/ other mail provider. There is no one configurable item regarding spam w/ Google.

Here's the header for you to examine (this one got through)

  4. Thanks for trying though Bruce, I appriciate it!

  5. Thank you for your help. Unfortunately Im still having this problem, not really sure how to fix it without continually modifiying all my emails till every word that ticks if off is gone. Its really wierd because my other sites do not have this problem, and they are hosted with different hosts??

  6. I believe this problem may be with the content of your message and the headers. I had a similar problem that was caused because I was emailing HTML code for the user to copy into their site.
