I Need to send email when record inserted, table exists in sql server 2005

    Is it possible to send E-Mail when record inserted in a table in sql server 2005?
    </o:p>
    If someone has code sample on how to do this it will appreciated, thanks for the help.
    </o:p>
    My Website is hosted in discountasp.net and it is ASP.NET 2.0 framework

    Does "localhost" need to be changed to something else for the smtp?

    Also, I don't have my development computer set up for email so I can't test that it works. I'm hoping to test this by loading up the site herebefore the site goes "live" to the public. Can I do that?

    Yes,the smtp server needs to be 'localhost' (as specified).You can test your site by uploading it DASP servers to a temporary location.
