We are pleased to announce that we have re-launched our IIS7 beta hosting program. We are now offering hosting on the latest build of the Longhorn Server, which Microsoft characterizes as the first "post-Vista" build.

There are many improvements in this build compared to the version we previously offered, including:

    * Significant improvements in performance and security.
    * Ability to connect through remote management console (you must specifically request this feature as it is not enabled by default).

We are very excited about this build of Longhorn and hope that once you have a chance to experience it for yourself, you will be too. We invite you to get started right away. Put the server to the test with some heavy duty applications and see how it responds.

To enable an account on the new IIS7 server, go to: https://my.discountasp.net/betahosting.aspx. If you had an account on the previous test server it is still necessary to set up a new account for this server.

We will continue make forum posts spotlighting new features of IIS7. For more information on IIS7, see the official Microsoft web site: http://www.iis.net/default.aspx?tabid=7

We would like to thank Microsoft's Bill Staples and Carlos Aguilar Mares for their help in preparing the server for this program. Check out their blogs at:
