My development environment is in Vista and production is Windows 2003 Server (I am running it on Virtual PC). Link http://productionserver/TransactionFiles/6a728c26-48f9-4edd-8264-132162d11781/MLS 001.jpg works fine on development, but on production I am receiving 404 error. Other folders which have “GUID” folder names work fine. When I rename the folder to something else it works on both environments too. Other failure in folder names examples: 129e93ad-6154-4f3d-a7fc-8af559bab84f b8cf4c05-2c70-4d05-aa43-90fd60eb66a6. I verified both IIS – the same web extensions are enabled. I would appreciate any help! Anthony
Not quite sure I understand whats happening with your site. A 404 means your site is looking for something but can't find it. Are you trying to do some kind of URL rewrite?
