  1. Hello everyone, I am trying to install WordPress on my domain in a subfolder.

For the sake of this example I will say the domain is www.mysite.com/blog.

/blog being where wordpress will be installed.

I have created several wordpress blogs, and installed wordpress on several hosting accounts however I am stumped here.

    I need help with:

    1. How to create a new folder on my domain called /blog

Ususally, on a hosting account when you login your root is called the same name as your domain, here the root seems to have a different name. I have created a new folder and installed wordpress however, when trying to run the install script it keeps say site under development. I am thinking the folder is not in the right spot.

How do you access your root folder with this host?

    2. Does anyone have experience installing wordpress successfully with this host? If so, what steps did you take?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your help!!!

    1) Simply login using FTP with your primary account. Make sure you don't set the remote path. Once you are logged in, create the blog directory and upload all your files there.

    2) I have seen many users installed WordPress successfully on our server.

  3. I have gone ahead and installed wordpress but still no luck here.

I am not sure where you go to 'not set the remote path'.

Once the wordpress install script is run it says site under construction instead of installing wordpress.

I have taken the same steps as I have several times with other hosting accounts to set up a wordpress install.

    Thanks again.

We can't really tell what the problem may be without taking a look, so unless you want to post your domain name I would suggest opening a support ticket.
