I'm currently hosting several applications on this hosting company, but my next project will be based Astoria and SQL 2005. I was wondering if anyone has done this to give me some guidelines what files to upload, what do I need to setup at hosting company and etc. Or perhaps the support team have some docs to helps us with this process. Thank you in advance! ..Ben
I know of a good number of people using ADO data service and more using Silverlight. There's really nothing special you need to do besides uploading the application to the server. Bruce DiscountASP.NET www.DiscountASP.NET
Hi Bruce; Thanks for the reply; But I'm not sure what dlls for the services need to be uploaded and to what directory. Also, IIS 6.0 needs to be setup in such a way to allow certain HTTP words to pass through and also recognize .svc files. But I just don't have the complete picture. I hope you would have a formal guideline for setting up ADO.Net Data Services and using your control panel to make those changes to IIS. The reason I'm asking this, because it's good for attracting new SL developers knowing your site supports ADO.Net Data Services and you have the information to back it up. There might be a few people doing it, but it would be great to have guidelines from your support. I hope you guys would look into this request and if I know it's there, I'll be referring new developers to your company. Thanks and looking forward to your input! ..Ben ..Ben
