Is there a way to password protect directories for multiple users?

    Nope. You'll have to write a simple .net authentication module to do that.

    The control panel user manager only lets me set up 3 users. Is there a way I can password protect directories / files for multiple users - or do I have to write some sort of .net web application. I don't really want to do this as most of the pages will be plain (static)html.

    I guess I'm thinking something along the lines of the .htaccess file for apache.
