JDBC driver

    Hi all,

    I'm developing some data apps for MAC and trying to use MSSQL server to connect on my remote database here on Discountasp.net however the EoModeler (the data modeler) keeps asking me for the JDBC driver on the database server.
    Can I have this driver installed on the server to allow me to connect to Discountasp.net via Xcode (EoModeler)?
    and create webaplications with my data hosted on my account on this server?

    as far as i know, you do not need to install the JDBC drive on the SQL server for an external application to connect to it.


    I think the error you are seeing is caused by the absence of JDBC on the client machine.
