Just created account and can't FTP

I just created a Discountasp.net account for someone about 3 hours ago, and I can't FTP to the site. I'm using Filezilla. Does it take some amount of time before you can connect through FTP?

I have another account with Discountasp.net that works fine.

I get this error:

Connection attempt failed with "EHOSTUNREACH - No route to host"

It's usually ready once they send the Email for availability.
Have you tried the alt FTP address, the one that does not use the domain name?

I've been trying the main and alternate one, and they both time out with the same error message:

Connection attempt failed with "EHOSTUNREACH - No route to host".

I can access the site through the browser (of course it just has the discountasp.net CP login stuff there now).

 

Post your FTP log on this thread so we can see whats going on between you and the server.

If you get "no route to host" using the alternative URL (your results above only include attempts to connect to the domain) you may have a router firewall/anti-virus issue. Running those diagnostics on a domain name that has recently had the name servers changed is misleading, becasue those changes may not have propagated to your ISPs DNS servers yet.
