Keeping 2 SQL Servers in Sync

  1. What is the recommended method to keep a local copy of SQL Server tables and the hosted copy in sync? Occasionally there is a need to add/update stored procedures. All the updating and testing takes place inhouse and then when approved, these changes need to be reflected on the web. Is snapshot replication an option or is there one more compatible with dasp.net hosting?

    Replication is not supported because both servers need to be on the same windows domain.

    We use a 3rd party product to sync our dev and live DB, red gate SQL compare. http://www.red-gate.com/
