    1) If you are currently using Webalizer, Livestats is by far better. The major difference is that you can get close to real time stats (you can configure the system to parse the log every minute). In addition, all historical data are stored in a SQL DB (it gets big though).

    2) Stable or not!!! This is a tough question to answer. We had our share of problems with Livestats (some minor bugs here and there) but it's reasonablely stable

I say you try it before you buy it.

  2. Hey Guys,

Not too sure if this question is a bit on the ethical side of things to ask - but i'm in charge of the windows hosting environment at the telco where i work as well as being a .Net developer and i'm currently ordering new servers + site statistics package and i saw that you guys here at DASP are using LiveSTATS.XSP.

So the question is, how stable and accurate is it?

Is it worthwhile getting hold of it? (old servers ran webalizer whichi have hadnumerous issues with, specifically stability - but hey, what can you expect from a freebie..- anyways,no offense intended).

I'm ordering LiveSTATS.Net for our own corporate site though.

I should mention that we are in no way in competition with DASP seeing as both prices and prices are way out of what we currently charge (which is way more) + we're a western australia based company.

Any feedback from anyone (or the DASP guys themselves) would be appreciated. Cheers!
