LMS is huge and vast. so many freebies but mostly all are mysql and php. i would like to have a LMS here on discountasp. Does anyone know of a good and cheap LMS that works with asp.net and sql server.
Maybe it's a Love Management System. No? Maybe this: A learning management system (commonly abbreviated as LMS) is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, and reporting of training programs, classroom and online events, e-learning programs, and training content.This is the first time I've ever heard of it though. So something tells me that unitedtaxin might have a friend that knows where to get one at a very reasonable price. Let's wait and see.
I work for a e-Learning company and we use JoolmaLMS which uses a MySQL DB. It's pretty good. I am currently working on writing management tools for it using .NET which I believe on DASP servers can connect to MySQL. There are other LMS programs available Moodle is OK, but like so many 'in-a-box' programs you tend to find you only need 10% of what they provide and you end up writing customisation add-ons for them - least that is my experience anyway. Good luck and please to say what you eventually find / use.
