  1. Hi,

    I'm using the .net 1.1 and the Enterprise Library - June 2005.

    I've recently uploaded a web site that utilizes the;
    1- Logging & Instrumentation Application Block
    2- Data Access Application BLock
    3- Exception handling application block
    4- Configuration application block.

    Everything works fine on my dev box. When I upload the site, I had an error indicating a problem with the logging block. I've removedthe reference to the logging block and kept the other three and bingo, everything works.

    Is there any limitations on discountasp.net about the logging block?

    I'm aware of the "USEWMI;USEEVENTLOG;USEPERFORMANCECOUNTER" post and have made the necessary changes.

    Thanks

    Ronald Bastien.

    are you trying to log to the event log? if so, it will fail.

    We do not allow customer logging to the eventlog.
