  1. I am trying to learn database stuff. I have programming experience in AS3 and others. But I am looking for a good book on databases. Something well written, that a barely experienced beginner can understand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  3. "database stuff" + "barely experienced beginner" => Microsoft Access.
The text for this would be Access 2010 The Missing Manual.

That may well be, but I would discourage anyone from using Access to create a database they are going to use with a web site.

Access was never intended to be a multiple-user database, and while you can do some extremely simple things with it on line, if you put any demands on it, it's going to fail.
