I am assuming that when I publish my VS website that the folder structure will be created under my root folder. How can I add folders under the root manually? TIA jja
You need to connect to your site with your favorite ftp client and create folders on your site. I recommend using FileZilla ftp client since it is both free and easy to use. Please see this KB article for the instructions on how to configure it to access your site.
