Maximum attachment size

What is the maximum attachment size allowed my SmarterMail?

I realize I'm limited by the recipient's max size, but I'd like to know what my constraint is.

Webmail: 10MB
Desktop email client via SMTP: 30MB
Via Web Application (Web server SMTP relay): 6MB

(Note that is the total message size, not the attachment limit. How large your attachment can be will depend on the size of the message itself.)

But as you pointed out, the recipient server may not accept a 30MB file - or even a 10MB file. In fact most large email providers will drop, block or refuse large messages these days. As you probably know, email isn't the most efficient way to transfer large files.
