  1. Hi Guys .. I made an online store, well most of it. The last part im having issues with is finding a way to accept payment .. thats the most important part! /emoticons/wink.gif

As I live in the Bahamas and the company is a Bahamian Business, Im having issues finding an online merchant that will work with us. I do have a US bank account, where I can have the money wired, thats not the issue, the issue is I dont and Cant get a US address which these merchant companies require.

I have just found a few that accept international companies, but not sure which ones are safe to use - anyone can put up a web site!

Also, is there anything supported or recommended by DAsp in this regards? I used Clickbank years ago for selling software and that was great, the client was taken off my site briefly for payment but that was good as then I didnt have to worry about HTTPS and all the rest. I do know some US companies that I do business with but I dont really trust them that much, and they are just small companies. Even if I have to pay monthly and by the sale or whatever, i just really need to get this going as I have US, Canadian and UK contacts that just wantto buy products.

I already have the account set up with the distributor for drop shipping ... which is another issue in itself .. if I have to wait for the money to clear in my bank, then transfer it to their bank ... that could be 4 days alone for getting the money in .. and they wont ship without the money .. so essentially i was hoping the merchant account would have a way to setup various vendor bank accounts .. so the money gets transferred to a certain account based on the Product ID .. any ideas? Either way first things first .. i need to be able to start accepting payment so I can move forward ..

The online store is located here, its not 100% live yet as the default page is default.htm.
Returns, shipping, and Payment are what I need to get straight once Ive got a payment method soughted out.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hmmm.. this is tricky.

The only 2 options i can think of are

    1) Use PayPal

    2) Contact a local merchant cc processor. I don't think any US CC processor will give you an account w/o an US addr.

  3. Thanks .. Paypal needs a US Addresss though .. local Banks cost a fortunr for a merchant acccount ..

It doesnt have to be a US company, just one that accepts Credit Cards .. and doesnt cost me a fortune to start with .. /emoticons/wink.gif

Do you guys have any components for ecommerce like this .. what are the options ..?
Ill still wait to see if I hear back from the 3 i emailed last night .. they claim they do international accounts also ..

    Thanks

I recommend you use Authorize.net as the processing gateway if possible. It doesn't need any component.

    We also have

    - Verisign Payflow pro COM
    - USAePay - Xcharge

    installed on our server
