Microsoft Failed Request Tracing Module Launched on Windows 2008 Platform

DiscountASP.NET announces launching support for the Microsoft Failed Request Tracing Module for IIS7 on the Windows 2008 hosting platform.

The Failed Request Tracing feature provides a way to diagnose and troubleshoot web applications by capturing the complete trace events for a request and recording them to a log file when the request fails. By analyzing the step-by-step request and response process, it is possible to identify problems by examining when they occurred and determining the cause.

To support this launch, we introduce new tools in the control panel to allow customers to enable access to the Failed Request Tracing module, to specify where to create the log file in the event of a request failure and to control the number of log files that are created.
