Microsoft Web Deployment Tool 1.0 Launched on Windows 2008 Hosting Platform

Today we announce launching support for Microsoft’s newly released Web Deployment Tool 1.0, also known as MSDeploy, on our Windows 2008 hosting platform. The Web Deployment Tool significantly improves the web deployment experience for developers hosting at DiscountASP.NET. The tool allows developers to package their web application configurations and content, including databases, and to use the packages for both deployment and archiving.

To support this launch and improve the user experience with IIS Manager, we introduce a new tool in our hosting control panel to allow customers to enable MSDeploy access.
