Moving from discountasp.net

    Though I do not currently want to move from discountasp.net, I am considering purchasing my own server and hosting it myself. How would I take control of my domain so that I can manage the root dns servers and move them to another dns host? I would obviously still need to pay registration fees for my domain. Is this something I would do with discountasp.net or would I deal directly with tucows?

    Please let me know how this would be handled.
