Hallo, I have a small problem with the Microsoft Report. Implementation and creation works fine but unfortunately the reports generates two pages ... on the first page is only the content of the body and on the second page is the header and the footer? I don't know why he seperates it. I'm using report parameters and a report datasource - I need both. Can that causes the problem? Regards, Guimel
...It's hard for me to reproduce this, just tried, but I have seen mention of it. I'll try and find a solution. If I find anything I'll repost. Sorry I can't be of more help but maybe someone else will chime in for you. All the best, Mark
Found one possible cause so far: http://weblogs.asp.net/stevewellens/archive/2010/07/22/unwanted-page-breaks-in-reportviewer.aspx
Hi Mark, thanks for your help! I got it work! It was strange even when it looked good in the report designer he gererated two pages. Even on the two pages it looked good! The problem was the size of the Header ... the width was a little bit to big ... that´s why he generated two pages. That´s not optimized in the MS Report ... I think, could be handled in a better way. Nevertheless it´s solved ...
