MS SQL and Email

  1. Was wondering if it's possible to send emails from a stored procedure on your SQL server (if you have the components installed or whatnot), as I'd quite like to be able to send email on insertion into a certain table.
    I've looked around and seen that there are components that will do this (I think) - are there any on mssql01?

    Nope. we do not allow sending mail from the sql server.
