  1. Is there any way of finding out how much space my database is taking up so far?
I feel like I'm living dangerously - expanding my database when I could be near my limit! Well, not that bad.

You should be able to check the disk usage from Enterprise manager.

  3. According to Enterprise Manager, my space available is 0.5MB but the size is 8.3 - I hope this doesn't have any actual relevance as I should have a lot more space available!

    Soon find out I guess.

I guess that's because the database file is set to auto expand.

If you are still concern, please create a support ticket, we can check it out for you.
