MSDTC supported

    Is MSDTC enabled on the database and application servers? For example if I have .NET code and/or stored procedures to manage transactions, can it make use of MSDTC on the DASP servers or is that feature disabled? From what I understand it comes disabled on the SP2 for windows server by default now. Thanks!

    Unfortunately MSDTC is not supported on our shared hosting environment. To support this feature requires that we loosen the security of our db servers.
