I've recently set up my account...so far so good. New to web development.

I have multiple domain names pointing to the same site. for example: domain.com, domain2.com and domain3.com

Is it the domain pointer that I use to get these other domain names to readto this site? (after I pointit through godaddy)

Then, will email sent to these other domain names also work? for example:email to [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected].
Will they all go to the same email user set up as [email protected]?

    Hope that makes sense.

    Ben

Nope, it doesn't work, just tried the emails to different domains.

That's too bad, that is a deal breaker for me. My previous hosts handled this with no extra effort. I will be cancelling my account shortly.

Unless you have away around this?

    Thanks.

No workaround right now. Root domain pointers do not come with email service.

But let me add, you can use the DNS Manager to point the mx records to an outside email service.

Yeah, I thought of that too, but just more potential fees and work...would like one stop shop.

    Thanks anyway.

  7. Yes only the root domain can be used for e-mail.
The domain pointers don't have an e-mail system.
