Need an easier way to update multiple credit cards!

  1. We have about two dozen sites with your company. Our bank recently issued us a new credit card, so we had to go in an manually update each account. This takes forever. To make matters worse, about 50% of the time your site gives us a message back that there is an "internet communication problem", and that we need to try again in 30 minutes.

After changing about half of the accounts, now we get a message that the card cannot be verified. No doubt, it must be the fraud protection that our bank utilizes, since your validation process puts through debits and credits for $1 each time the credit card number is updated.

We are about an hour into the process, and our bank has suggested that we try again tomorrow, since there is no simple way to prevent this type of rejection when so many repetitive charges and made by the same vendor.

There has got to be a better way. You really should have a way of linking all of these accounts so that we could simply make an update in one place which would perform a single validation of the card number, and copy that into the profiles for all of our accounts. Banks are getting more and more concerned with credit card fraud, and they are much quicker to reissue cards if they believe that there is the possibility of the cards being compromised. If it's this hard to update with two dozen accounts, what will it be like when we have 100?

We love your services. Your API's are dynomite. This has got to be a simpler fix than what your developers already have done with API's. Help!

Thanks for the feedback. I'll bring this up with the product team at our next meeting.
