Need to send email against database

    Greetings,

    I am in need of sending out emails against my database. I understand that DASP will not allow me to utilize "database mail" from within sql server 2008 as I can't log on as SA -- does anyone have a workaround?

    If there is no work around can someone recomend a good walkthrough or tutorial on how to use VB scripting to send out emails against the database?

    also I would entertain if anyone knew a way to import the email address from sql into outlook 2007?

    create a simple ASPX page that query the database and send email from the app.
