You can upload files with any ftp client. See for example: http://kb.discountasp.net/default.aspx?cNode=5S0L1E&pNodes=0F0W3S
Many authoring tools also have built-in FTP. For example, you can publish using Visual Web Developer Express or Visual Studio - see: http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10364

  2. Thank you for your help. I'm currently using Visual Web Developer 2008. I followed the directions in the article you linked to. However, when I tried anonymous login it didn't work. Then I tried inputing the username and password that I use to sign in to the website with and that didn't work either. Is there something else I'm missing? Thank you.

Are you on the Windows 2008/IIS7 hosting platform? If so, make sure that you are using the correct username - it's different from your control panel login. See the Account Info section of your Control Panel.

  4. Do you mean under the FTP Information? If so, it says for FTP Username: either a7 digit number or my control panel login. It looks like: XXXXXXX:username.
And the ftp password says it's the same as control panel password above.

Does this mean I can either use the7 digit number or the username to connect?

    It's not a colon ":", its a pipe sign "|"
And you use the entire thing as the ftp username - not one part of it. The ftp username should be: XXXXXXX|cplogin
Unfortunately, to take advantage of the new features in FTP7, the ftp username needs to have the this format with the "|" sign.

  6. I just registered my domain through this website. I thought there would be a simple way to upload the website I had built on my computer. However, there is no simple "upload website" option. In fact, I don't actually see a way to upload the website I've been working on at all. Can someone point me in the right direction? I signed up with this discountasp.net because I read that it worked with all asp.net built webpages, but I don't see a simple way to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

  7. Thank you very much for your help. It would have taken me a lot longer to figure it out without you.
