  1. I heard a lot of good things about discountasp, so I thought i'd give it a try on my next few sites.

Signed up today... 1st thing I do is create a database only to be notified that "You will receive an email once your SQL database is provisioned".

Well, that was about 30 minutes ago. Still no database! What gives!

Looked for live chat - Nope.
Looked for phone support to ask - Nope

Submitted a ticket, thinking I'd get a quick response to such an easy question. Still no answer.

How long do you normally have to wait to get a response to a ticket?

  2. Hi,
Response time can vary but it is typically very quick.
Many of us here in the forums are on-hand to help you.
    All the best,
    Mark

All addon service are handled by the billing departments. Our billing department offer limited hours on the weekend. Your database will be processed today.

Provisioning of some of the add-on services is still done manually. We're working on automating all of them - we recently automated SSL certificate installation, and I don't think anyone else has done that yet - but it can be a complicated process in some cases.

I don't know what your account username is, but I just checked the queue and there are no database add-on requests more than 45 minutes old, so I assume yours has been provisioned.

  5. Hi,

We submitted a request for MS SQL 2008 addon almost 2 hours ago and we still don't have the database set up (domain intonik.com). We would prefer to start working on the site today, if that's possible. Thanks!

  6. Never mind, the database was set up 30 minutes after we posted.
