  1. I just signed up for your service yesterday. I have a dot com domain at another hosting company, which is the one i used when i registered with your company. I have searched all over the KB and Forums for specific steps I need to take to get my domain moved over, but I cant find anything? Can someone please describe the exact detailed steps I need to take to move my dot com address over to DiscountASP.Net?

    Thanks,
    DaGmen.

  3. I did the "whois" and my Registrar is: SCHLUND+PARTNER AG, my hosting company is 1and1.
They give me the ability to change the DNS number for my domain. Is that all I need to do? Just change the DNS numbers for my domain?
You dont have a KB article for 1 and 1 Hosting transfers?

    Thanks!

i am not familiar w/ 1and1's system but most registrars work in a similiar ways. You should be able to update name server of your domain to

    ns1.discountasp.net
    ns2.discountasp.net
    ns3.discountasp.net
If you are uncertain, I suggest you contact 1and1's support before you proceed. If you put in the wrong DNS information, your website will not work for quite an extended time (depending on how 1and1 set their DNS's time to live)

  5. Ok, I just did that. I updated the DNS entries to the ones you gave me. Is that all I need to do, once that change goes through, ismy move completed?

    Thanks for all your help!
