Oracle remote connection

    I've done this with SQL Server and Oracle but am not aware of a method that will work here.
    My guess would be using Oracles ODBC drivers to SQL.
    But I'd suggest opening a support ticket from your Control Panel and ask the DASP staff.

    Hi all,

    good day to everybody ...

    My issue is:

    I have a Remote Oracle Server and my pages reside ofcourse on discountASP.
    How can I connect to Oracle remotely (note that discountASP dosen't have Oracle client i.e. cannot rely on TNS names)

    Have you tried using one of those .NET Oracle data provider?


    We have not tested any of these provider but you may be able to just upload the dll into the bin directory.
