  1. just saw this at http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10207
"When trying to upload using FTP with additional users created in the Control Panel User Manager, the system can respond with an Access Denied error. IIS FTP server does not have the ability to map additional users to your webroot. When using users other than your main user account to FTP, you must explicitly change directory to /[account_username]. "

but is it mean I should use ftp.xxx.com/[account_chuck] to access? the web said :
550/[account_chuck]: The system cannot find the file specified.

Please let me know if you know how to.
    Thanks!

  2. I created a new user to let him access web files, but he can not see any file in the ftp site. What did I do wrong? is there other way to allow other people to update and maintain my web?[IMG]

  3. Actually I submitted a ticket andMike Helped me with the following:

    Im using explorer 7.0

For a typical ftp connection use:

    <a target="_blank" href="ftp://ftp.mysite.com/mysite00">ftp://ftp.mysite.com/mysite00</A>

The mysite00 would be the root directory. If you wanted to limit it to a folder named folder1, the URL would be:

    <a target="_blank" href="ftp://ftp.mysite.com/mysite00/folder1">ftp://ftp.mysite.com/mysite00/folder1</A>

The article I looked at doesn't show tell you to do this. Once I did it this way, it worked fine--provided that you set up the permissions.
