Performance Monitoring II

Discussion in 'Suggestions and Feedback' started by dgormannc, May 27, 2009.

  1. My interest in monitoring started when we implemented aspnetmail with batch send, ,I would get to about 400 emails and the app would recycle. So I had to build recovery logic to finish the mail send and then there are impacts to in-process Session State. Anyway as I am trying to work through issues I am also trying to tune code etc and it would be nice to see impact in production environment. For me specifically it would be nice to be able to write out periodic memory stats. Is garbage collection working well enough or do I have a memory leak. Is my Rich Text component eating too much of my memory so it isn't worth it. Any suggestions on being able to look under the hood in production would be great. thanks
