  1. Hello,

Since some days ago (I guess since last upgrade to PHP 5) it's impossible to upload any image file through WordPress (I upgraded it to last version, 2.6.1; same behaviour), getting this message: 'PHP Warning: File upload error - unable to create a temporary file in Unknown on line 0'.

    Any help is really appreciated.

    Regards, thanks,

    Marcos

  3. mjp - I did this very thing for the very same error in another PHP app (Pixelpost) and got an unhelpful response (not unlike yours) from a 'Mike O.' He told me to post a message here ... and the wheel keeps turning ...

Please look at: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=39123. From the initial config tests I am running locally, we are unable to affect this fix as a subscriber - it's in php.ini.

  4. Hello all,

mjp, I went that way before posting here but, as Newkular pointed out, they encouraged me to write here.

Newkular, I sent some more info (your link included) to support, and I got an 'Unfortunately this is beyond our scope of support and we can only provide limited support to programming related issues', so I find my-self somewhat like naked. If it's true it can only be fixed from their side, I'll end up leaving this hosting.

    Regards, thanks,

    Marcos

I think there's some problem w/ PHP upload function after the upgrade. We have already figured out a work around.

I think our support staff didn't realize the problem while responding to you. Please reopen the support ticket and our sysadmin will check the server settings.
