   Is there a significance to the 'postmaster' account that was autocreated (at least I didn't create it)?
   Can I just delete it?

   This is the default admin user so that you can perform administrative tasks in Smartermail.
   
   This user can be deleted only after you set another user as the Primary Domain Administrator through the control panel.
