Prevent visitors to show my web folder like images folder

Hi...

How can I prevent my visitors to show my private or public folders content.. please help?

Ex. www.mycompany.com/images

when the visitor do that he can show the all content of images folder

I'm using asp.net 2.0

 

Two simple methods are to turn off Directory browsing in your accounts Control Panel...
And creating default files to kick browsers back out of folder roots.

Sure. . .We'll go the easiest route with this one:

1. Log into your DASP account.
2. On the left side, under Tools & Utilities, click on IIS Manager
3. Click the Directory Browsing tab.
4. Change the Directory Browsing Status to Off.

You can also set individual properties for folders when needed with the Permission Manager in the same section.
