  1. I have a bunch of wma or Windows Media Audio files that I use on my website. There's one that is a problem that has an error but I haven't been able to delete it. I've also tried replacing it and using synchronize site but there's always a problem. The log looks like this if I try to synchronize.

Synchronize between 'J:\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\TaylorEntertainmentSite\Digital Audio Files\Clips of Tracks' and 'ftp://www.taylorentertainment.biz/Digital Audio Files/Clips of Tracks' started at 3/4/2009 3:32:14 AM.

Delete Less Gravity.wma from remote Web site.
Has error -- Error deleting file 'Less Gravity.wma'. Cannot remove file "Digital Audio Files/Clips of Tracks/Less Gravity.wma". Error Code: 550.

Any ideas? Anyone know anything about Error Code 550. I have to look into that and will do so now.
This Forum is starting to look a lot like VBForums all of the sudden.

can't really tell what is going w/ just the error code. It may be better if you create a support ticket.

  3. I created a support ticket and they were able to delete the file for me. I gave them the exact path. Was then able to successfully transfer a good source file to the remote website.

  4. You guys could add thread resolved to the thread tools dropdown list. That way people won't waste time looking at a thread that's been resolved. VBForums has an almost identical setup to this forum.

I can see how that might be useful for the opposite reason. So people searching for a fix can see if something worked. But I have noticed that people tend to tag onto existing threads rather than starting their own, and we wouldn't want to skip over those. Many of us here read every thread anyway.

You're right though, that forum uses vBulletin also. But having a "resolved" option in the thread tools dropdown is a hack, it's not a configurable option.
