Problems with my website

  1. I think my website has a session that is still open from a few hours ago and due to a programming bug, is constantly sending out eMails. I've been in conversations with the DiscountASP help desk, but all they want to do is shut me down because of all the emails. They keep saying that they can't troubleshoot my code (which I have never asked them to do!) and while I was debugging the problem they shut me down again.

    I truly believe that the session from a few hours ago is still running and sending the eMails out over and over, thus causing the helpdesk people think I still have a problem.

    Who at DiscountASP.net can check the web logs, find my old session that is still running, and force stop it?

  2. Hi,
    Have you gone to your Control Panel and:
    1) Stop the site
    2) Recycle the site
    3) Restart the site

    Should take care of something like this.

  3. Trying to get my site turned back on...

    I've done all the thingsz you mentioned. I've fixed and uploaded my code. Now I'm trying to get the support team to turn my site back on. I started replying to my ticket 1 1/2 hours ago and still no action on their part. Do you have connections to them,??

  4. Sorry about that.

    From what I read on the ticket, it appears they had to wait until an admin was available to monitor your account while they re-enabled it, as they had to make sure the emails didn't flood the SMTP server, causing delays in the mail delivery.
