psstit.com (most popular stuff on the internet)

  1. Hey guys, my company is launching it's new website today http://psstit.com (PSST! it)

What is it? Send and receive funny/cool shit to and from your friends
Isn't this like Digg? Yes and No. Popularity on Digg is determined by votes... links only become popular on psstit.com by sharing it with friends. You cannot just go to the link and click +1 (Digg style), it only becomes popular by sending it onto friends...

The idea is... if it's not funny/cool enough to pass it on, it's crap. Stuff that sucks won't get shared, and it'll die. The goodstuff that you like to forward to everyone on your list will quickly rise to the top.

    What's cool
    * You can get emails, rss (news feed), or a list when you login of all the funny shit your friends have sent to you.
    * Funny stuff of the day, week, month, year, all time. rss feeds for this too.
    * Going to give out awards and prizes for certain hidden criteria. (Early adopters will have the advantage of passing more links around before the masses hit it).
    * It's my site... help meeeee! [IMG]

Instead of forwarding emails and im's to people, I've switched to this...

If you're interested... use it and be sure to sign up a few friends (this is where it becomes fun). This is my profile

If you're not interested, help me and post a reply here and tell me why so we can improve.

    THANKS!!!
